More Leaks About PS5 Pro and Its Final Launch Date
We are still following up on all news regarding Sony devices and PlayStation in general, and this time with some exciting information that has surfaced from various sources recently, talking about a new version of the PlayStation 5 that will be available worldwide.
This is about a technologically advanced version that may be called PS5 Pro. Based on the information shared in recent weeks, most expectations suggest that the device may be unveiled very soon, before returning to the spotlight hours ago through a series of details in a report from trusted journalist Tom Henderson.
From his own site Insider Gaming, he took the opportunity to share with us a series of new leaks about the upcoming PlayStation 5 Pro device, while rumors continue to link Sony to the announcement of new devices such as a PlayStation 5 Slim version, as well as a portable gaming device as reported recently by the same journalist.
Sharing the first technical information obtained about this device, regarding the news related to the PS5 Pro platform, the same source indicated that Sony aims to launch it in the early stages of the year 2024, as it targets the end of this year to release the PlayStation 5 Slim model in global markets to replace the current model.
According to him, a new event from Sony called PlayStation Showcase could be an opportunity to unveil the new PlayStation 5 Pro device due to the technologies it uses, as most previous leaks indicate a focus on supporting true 4K resolution at 60 frames per second.
This is still a challenge for current devices to achieve, as PC devices have made significant advancements in this regard over the years, now targeting 8K resolution with high frame rates. This has prompted engineers at Sony to release enhanced versions that started with the PlayStation 4 Pro and will likely be followed by a version of the PS5 Pro.
