More leaks about the new Nintendo Switch Pro device and very scary details
Over the past few months, we have had a very favorable opportunity to talk about the Nintendo Switch device, which has brought us a set of details and leaks from multiple sources confirming that another version of the device is indeed being developed by Nintendo in collaboration with the giant NVIDIA, as reported by the global site Bloomberg last week.
Initially, it cannot be shared any questionable information through its pages, and it was reported that a grand announcement is coming soon from Nintendo company for another device under the name Nintendo Switch Pro 4K, which has been in development for a long time.
This has been previously mentioned on our site through a series of articles and important reports that were about the device. Also, we have recorded more details from the Spanish website El Espagnol in the past few hours, confirming that according to information obtained from an Asian electronic components manufacturing company, the new device indeed has more features and characteristics as reported by the same source.
It was confirmed that the external appearance will not change much as long as the new platform comes with slightly thinner edges and a 7-inch OLED screen with 720p resolution. Also, the device comes with a different back base compared to what was available in the original model of the Nintendo Switch, making it closer to what Microsoft uses on the Surface device in terms of the base that allows the user to keep the device in a horizontal position and use it very comfortably.
The source also confirmed that the device carries significant changes to the Dock, which can be used to charge the device and connect it to the TV, now supporting a USB 3.0 input instead of 2.0, in addition to including an Ethernet input for internet connection, which was a weakness present in the device but seems to be addressed in the new version.
The most important step will undoubtedly be the support of the device for 4K display resolution and the ability to transmit this signal from the new Dock, which, starting from the enhanced graphics processor in the device, will allow users to raise the resolution up to 4K. More details can be expected on this topic, especially since the global unveiling is very close, even before the E3 exhibition, according to what was stated in the sources with a final release around November of this year.
