Microsoft Teams allows you to hold confidential meetings with its new feature.
If you want to hold meetings outside of your work commitments on Microsoft Teams, you can try out the app’s new feature.
This new feature will allow you to hold meetings that are not scheduled or visible to the rest of your team members. We’ll tell you all about the new Microsoft Teams feature for holding secret meetings.
Microsoft continues to improve Teams with features that meet the communication needs of users in their workspaces.
We have already discussed dozens of features that have been added in their updates so that meetings can be customized for each workflow. Many of them are tailored to a hybrid work model.
And now, a new feature is being added that will be useful for those occasions where you want to hold a meeting outside of work commitments, without changing the app. The feature, called “offline meetings” by Microsoft Teams, will allow you to hold a meeting “without leaving any trace.”
While scheduling this type of meeting and attending it follow the same dynamics we already know, when the user uses this feature, they will have to deactivate the “online” option. This way, Microsoft Teams will not automatically create a meeting link.
On the other hand, Teams will not create chat threads and no details of this meeting will be recorded. So the meeting will only be available to attendees, but no records will be left.
According to the roadmap of Microsoft Teams, this new feature is supposed to already be released on the desktop version and Mac version, scheduled for this month.
