The relationship of this 3-year-old Palestinian child with YouTube began when his father, a photojournalist, lost his job due to the closure of the media institution he worked for by the Israeli occupation. One day, while sitting at home, he noticed the presence of a bulletproof vest and helmet in the house. This sparked the idea of filming his child wearing the attire of journalists and posting it on his personal Facebook page. The video quickly went viral and was featured by several media outlets.
Ziad is different from other children because he has a unique talent and a high ability to mimic what he hears from his father in a childlike manner, giving his political words an endearing touch. Ziad, the Palestinian child, lives in Hebron in the far south of the occupied West Bank, where children face attacks from Israeli soldiers, with no protection of their rights by institutions like other children in the world.
In a short period, Ziad was able to produce several short videos inside his home, with the help of his father’s editing skills using editing programs to add sound effects to attract viewers to his small child’s videos. He has been given the title of the youngest YouTuber in the world.
