Launching the Insta360 Ace Pro 2 camera with new competitive features

Insta360 has announced the launch of its new camera, the Ace Pro 2, which is an updated action camera aimed at competing with the popular GoPro cameras. The Ace Pro 2 comes with a variety of accessories to suit different uses, making it an attractive choice for photography enthusiasts.
The camera features a larger, movable back screen with a 180-degree angle, making it easier to capture selfie videos. The price of the camera starts at $400, which is $50 less than the original Ace Pro version.
The design of the Ace Pro 2 is very similar to the GoPro Hero series and DJI’s Osmo Action cameras, with a side lens that allows for an extra screen in the front. Unlike competitors’ cameras, the front screen of the Ace Pro 2 only displays information and does not show the video.
The back screen is 2.5 inches in size with increased brightness and pixel density, making it easy to adjust shots whether the user is in front of or behind the camera. One of the key features of the Ace Pro 2 is its ability to record video in a resolution of up to 8K at 30 frames per second, compared to 24 frames per second in the previous version. The camera uses a new 1/1.3-inch image sensor and a Leica Summarit lens with a wide angle of 157 degrees.
The photo quality has also been enhanced to 50 megapixels, and it can shoot 4K video at 120 frames per second, or 60 frames per second in HDR. The camera can also record 1080p video at up to 240 frames per second, allowing for slow-motion shots and smooth movements.
The Ace Pro 2 camera uses a professional image processing chip to handle photos and reduce noise, and it has an artificial intelligence chip that supports PureVideo mode, which enhances video brightness and improves details in low light conditions. The camera also has the ability to create automatic video clips that capture the best moments.
In terms of water resistance, the camera has an increased water resistance capability of up to 39 feet, compared to 33 feet in the previous version, and can be used up to a depth of 197 feet when using the optional diving cover.
Insta360 has added a new accessory called the Wind Guard to improve audio quality in fast-paced activities, which can be magnetically attached or removed for recording audio in quiet conditions. The camera also features a larger 1800 mAh battery that lasts up to 180 minutes when recording 1080p video at 24 frames per second, but the battery life decreases when shooting in 8K resolution.
The camera supports recording up to 120 seconds before starting to avoid missing important shots, and allows pausing and resuming recording without creating a new video file, in addition to supporting voice commands and hand gestures for remote camera control, and displaying information in the video from smartwatches and fitness trackers.
