The Gamescom conference is scheduled to start this week from October 17-20 in Singapore with the participation of competitive and general events, along with public presentations by industry experts and programmers. It is expected to attract 150 events and 40,000 visitors.
Capcom has confirmed its participation in the conference in the B2C entertainment zone at the exhibition. Additionally, they will provide players with the opportunity to experience upcoming games. There will also be a Street Fighter 6 tournament for professionals in Singapore.
Several games from the company will be available to play, including Monster Hunter Wilds, with the game’s producer Ryozo Tsujimoto giving a presentation on Saturday to reveal new details about the game.
Moreover, the director of Street Fighter 6 will meet the audience on Saturday at the main stage according to the conference organizers.
In the commercial sector of the conference, former Executive Director Shawn Layden is expected to discuss expectations and an overview of the industry in general.
Playstation, Neopets, and GCL are also expected to attend the Gamescom Asia conference with upcoming games like JDM: Japanese Drift Master, Terratech Worlds, First Dwarf, and S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2: Heart of Chornobyl.
Korean company Sandy Floor will showcase the game Great Toy Showdown for gamers to try out.
In the social area, players will have the opportunity to meet actors and models like Andrew Wincott, Charess Mabia, and Xiaoyu.
As usual in conferences, there will be many sales and a tabletop gaming area with arcade machines inspired by the 80s.
