Is your browsing slow on Firefox? The solution is to upgrade to the 64-bit version.
The Firefox browser with 64-bit version, has been released some time ago, and although there was no stable version, all versions were experimental. The 64-bit version of Firefox allows for greater use of your device’s RAM for every action Firefox performs, as well as greater use of the processor and better protection. (Download browser)
To use the browser with the 64-bit version, your Windows system needs to be 64-bit, and you can find out more about the difference between 32-bit and 64-bit to know if your device supports 64-bit in terms of the processor.
Now, to confirm whether your Firefox version is 64-bit or 32-bit, you need to type about: support in the Firefox address bar and access the page. If the word next to Win64, then your version is 64-bit, but if it is Wow64, it means your version is 32-bit.
The upgrade process should be simple, where you download the English or Arabic 64-bit version of Firefox, install it, and manually change your 32-bit version to 64-bit. The 32-bit version is typically found in the Program Files (x86) folder, while the 64-bit version will be in the Program Files folder on Windows.
After the upgrade, I did not face the same problems. The video playback and stuttering due to the browser did not occur, and also on Facebook, there were some JavaScript errors that resulted in browser unresponsiveness, as well as some slowdowns and freezes that were happening recently and are no longer occurring.
