Is this the reason why Black Ops 6 is banned in Kuwait?

Recently, we shared with you the news of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 being banned in Kuwait as it did not receive approval in the country, and refunds were provided to those who had pre-ordered the game in Kuwait.
At that time, there was no specific reason given for the ban on the game in Kuwait, but some speculated that it may be due to certain aspects of the game’s storyline that could touch on the Iraq invasion of Kuwait.
Today, the account @aldaejam shared information obtained from sources regarding the reason for the game’s ban in Kuwait. It was reported that the ban on Black Ops 6 was confirmed in Kuwait after the relevant authorities reviewed the story mode. Concerns were raised about the representation of certain characters, such as the former Iraqi president Saddam Hussein, in a heroic light, as well as the portrayal of characters in a manner deemed inappropriate by the Kuwaiti side.
Additionally, there was displeasure over scenes depicting the burning of Kuwaiti oil wells during the Iraq-Kuwait war. Sources mentioned that Activision had met with Kuwaiti authorities and requested a meeting to discuss possible modifications to the game for release in Kuwait, but the Kuwaiti side did not respond to the request.
The @CallofDutyARA team expressed hope that the game would eventually be approved and released for players in Kuwait.
It is important to note that as of now, Black Ops 6 has not received official approval from the relevant authorities in Kuwait, and therefore, the game will not be available for its scheduled release on October 25. All pre-orders for the game in Kuwait will be canceled. There is still hope for the release of Black Ops 6 in Kuwait, with the aim of providing players the opportunity to enjoy the new and exciting experience it offers.
