iPhone 16 users complain about rapid battery drain.

Some users of iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro are facing major battery draining issues without any clear reason, according to complaints on technical support forums and Reddit. While most reports are coming from iPhone 16 users, users of older devices running iOS 18 are also experiencing the same problem.
Complaints about battery drain started with the beta release of iOS 18, but significantly increased after the launch of the new system and the introduction of iPhone 16 devices. Many users report a sharp drop in battery even in standby mode, where the device loses a significant amount of charge without any actual usage.
One iPhone 16 Pro user wrote: “My phone’s battery drops to 60% in half a day without intensive use. I didn’t expect this from a new device, and I feel like I should have kept my old phone.”
Another user confirms that the issue is not related to settings, as they disabled background updates and set the refresh rate to 60Hz, yet did not see significant improvement in battery performance. Some users mentioned that Night Mode or factory reset helped improve battery life, but did not completely solve the issue.
Currently, it seems that the problem is related to a software bug in iOS 18, which has not been fully fixed in subsequent updates like iOS 18.0.1 or iOS 18.1 beta. Users are hoping that Apple will release a update soon to address this issue affecting device performance.
