Some users of iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro are facing major battery draining issues without any clear reason, according to complaints on technical support forums and Reddit. While most reports are coming from iPhone 16 users, users of older devices running iOS 18 are also experiencing the same problem.
Complaints about battery drain started with the beta release of iOS 18, but significantly increased after the launch of the new system and the introduction of iPhone 16 devices. Many users report a sharp drop in battery even in standby mode, where the device loses a significant amount of charge without any actual usage.
