iPhone 16 Pro Phones Facing Issues of Unexpected Shutdowns and Reboots

Recent reports have indicated that some iPhone 16 Pro devices are facing issues of freezing, unresponsiveness, and sudden restarts without a clear explanation.
Since the launch of the iPhone 16 series in September last year, users have been able to experience the new features and improvements, but they have also discovered some technical glitches.
According to reports, complaints about the freezing and restart issue started appearing on social media platforms and technical support forums a few days after the launch.
Most of these reports came from users of the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, indicating that these versions were more prone to this problem.
Affected users report that their device screens suddenly become unresponsive to touch, followed shortly by an automatic restart. There have been cases where the device restarts unexpectedly without the device being used while in standby mode.
This problem affects devices running on iOS 18, the iOS 18.0.1 sub-update, as well as the iOS 18.1 beta versions, indicating that the cause may not be related to the same issue that leads to battery drainage according to other reports.
Based on user complaints, it appears that the issue is linked to certain units regardless of the software version used in the system, raising concerns about device-related hardware issues.
While Apple has not officially commented on these complaints yet, some affected customers have been able to get their devices replaced under warranty, and in some cases the problem persisted in the replaced units.
It is worth noting that users do not all experience the problem with the same severity, as some face intermittent freezing and restarts, while others face this issue more frequently hindering normal phone usage.
Some reports suggest that performing a factory reset without restoring the backup may help resolve the issue, indicating that the glitch may be related to the backup restoration process from iCloud. However, this solution may make setting up the new device more complex.
