iOS 18 Official Release Date: iPhone 15 and Earlier Launch Dates

Apple has revealed the release date for the stable version of its next-generation operating system, iOS 18, which will be available to current iPhone users four days before the launch of the new iPhone 16.
Apple held its annual event today at its headquarters in the United States under the title It’s Glow Time, where it unveiled the iPhone 16, along with the new generation of its smartwatches, as well as the new wireless earbuds, AirPods.
After officially unveiling the new iPhone 16, which will come pre-installed with the new iOS 18 operating system, Apple released a statement confirming the availability date for the new system updates to current iPhone users.
The company stated that the updates for the stable version of the system will be available to everyone starting from September 16, four days before the expected launch of the iPhone 16 on September 20.
As the company also indicated during the WWDC developer conference in June, when iOS 18 was first unveiled, the system will not be available for all current Apple devices, but will be available for devices starting from the iPhone XR generation and newer up to the iPhone 15, as well as the budget models, the second and third generation iPhone SE.
It should also be noted that the AI features in iOS 18 will not be available on previous devices except for the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, but the regular iPhone 15 models will be able to run them.
