Insider Reveals Galaxy Z Fold 6 Phone. Next Samsung Foldable Phone May be Available Soon

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 is one of the most popular phones this year. It’s easy to see why, as it is packed with advanced features and specifications – earning it four out of five stars in Andy Boxall’s review. However, its successor is on the way – and we may have a release date for the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, thanks to a leak from a Korean publication.

One rumor suggested that the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition would be released on October 18 – just two days from now – but this new information sheds light on that. FNNews published a story stating that the Z Fold Slim (another name for the special edition) will be released on the 25th of this month.

The report also seems to confirm some unfortunate news: this model of the Galaxy Z Fold will be restricted to China and Korea and will not be available globally, although I assume you can still import one if a phone with a thickness of 4.9mm (when opened) appeals to you. And even when folded, the rumored thickness of the Z Fold Special Edition is only 12.1mm.

Is this the final release date? No, until Samsung officially announces it, take everything you read with caution. We still have to wait and see whether the phone will be launched in two days or at some point next week, but we are excited to see it hit the market – especially after rumors suggest it could feature a main camera with a resolution of 200 megapixels.

Considering all this information, it seems unlikely that it will be released in just two days. Samsung has not officially unveiled the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition yet, and the idea of unveiling and releasing on the same day is unlikely. Based on what we know, October 25 is the most likely launch date.
