Sony has released a new update for The Last of Us Part 1 game specifically for the PS5 Pro platform, which is now available. The update adds support for the upcoming PS5 Pro mid-generation platform features and several improvements. Also, the 1.2.0 update for The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered has been released.   • New Performance Mode: A new display mode has been added that uses PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) technology to enhance image quality. In the new “Pro” mode, the game is displayed at a resolution of 1440 pixels and then upscaled to 4K using PSSR technology, while maintaining a steady frame rate of 60 frames per second.
  • Performance Mode: Provides a smoother gaming experience with a higher frame rate than the original version on the base PS5 platform.

To fully benefit from the enhanced features, a compatible display screen or TV is required, in addition to the PlayStation 5 Pro console, which will be officially released on November 7, 2024.
