These updates appear on the user’s page, and friends can read them directly from their home page or visit the user’s profile. It is simple and very easy; it is like Facebook but with a significant difference. What distinguishes Twitter from Facebook are its features at the height of simplicity. Twitter is easier to publish ideas and news and much faster than Facebook. You just go to the site, log in, then publish what you want quickly and easily.

Creating a Twitter account is very easy. Just your name, email, password, then the username, then go to your email, then activate the account.

Just decide what you want to say. Tweets are short messages of no more than 140 characters. Most tweets are about what you’re doing now, your opinion on a specific topic, or a link to a specific topic. (If your tweet is directed at a specific person, then write @ followed by their name).

Twitter is about following people, and people following you. Now is the time to search for people to follow. Click on Who to Follow, then Find People. You can follow individuals, websites, companies, or anything you want. Just choose and click on Follow. (If you have Gmail, Yahoo, AOL, Hotmail, MSN, you can follow people you already have on Twitter, just click on Find Friends).

Now you can fill in more information about yourself, such as your location, real name, or your website link. Just click on Settings, fill in the information, then Save.

You can click on “Design,” then choose the appearance of your profile that you want to show to others. You can upload an image or choose a design from the available shapes.
