Basilio Magnus is the younger and larger brother of the Paripus soldiers you meet, who work closely with Louis. The brothers regularly appear in the story, and Basilio officially joins the team later in the game when you reach Montario.
Basilio is the last follower to join your group, bringing with him the powerful Berserker Archetype.
How to Unlock and Level Up Neuras
Neuras Corax is a talented engineer and the leader of your Gauntlet Runner vehicle. He joins you in the beginning of the Tournament for the Throne and takes you to your first challenge.
While Neuras appears throughout the game, he does not become your follower until you visit the village of Komero in Martira. There, you discover his teacher’s notes, starting your search for the lost relics.
You will find the notes in the engine room as soon as you enter. As you progress in the main story, new parts of the notes will be unlocked, revealing more relic locations. Finding these relics is simple, just go to the locations mentioned in the notes and find the distinct box on your map.
You may not even need to read the notes, as Gallica will inform you when entering a dungeon that contains a lost relic. Be thorough in your search at each location to find the relics. Each relic found will increase Neuras’s level, enhancing the performance of your Gauntlet Runner vehicle and the Gunner Archetype.
How to Unlock and Level Up Maria
Maria is Grius’s daughter and plays a prominent role in the early stages of the main story. Obtaining her as a follower unlocks the Healer Archetype and some strong negative bonuses. Leveling up Maria increases the experience gained from battles and allows cooking without time consumption.
Leveling up Maria is very easy, just return to Grand Trad and regularly talk to her. She will often be found at the beginning of your day, so make sure to return to Sunshade Row via teleport. You will find her outside the Hushed Honeybee Inn during the day.
How to Unlock and Level Up Catherina
Catherina Grann is a Paripus throne candidate who believes in punishing the rich for hoarding wealth. You will first meet her in the dungeon called Regalith Grand Cathedral in the early stages of the game, and you will encounter her frequently during your journey to participate in the tournament.
As you travel, you will see other Gauntlet Runner vehicles on the map, and if you encounter them, you will often end up in a battle with their owners. Catherina’s vehicle is distinct with its pink color, matching her overall style. You must find and defeat her to unlock the Brawler Archetype and level her up as a follower. This will grant you powerful abilities later on, including assistance in some battles.
How to Unlock and Level Up Alonzo
You will meet Alonzo in Martira, where he witnesses the theft of Grius’s dagger from you. To start his mission, you need to level up your Imagination to level 2, then he will help you retrieve the dagger. When you provide him information about the tournament, he will agree to help you and become one of your followers.
This unlocks the Faker Archetype and starts his side mission. Continue to search for Alonzo around the kingdom, usually in the evening. Help him achieve his goals to level him up as a follower.
How to Unlock and Level Up Bardon
After completing the main mission in Martira, Bardon becomes the temporary leader of the city. You can find him in Thoroughfare Square, where he asks for your help in leading the city as the new ruler.
You will receive the Commander Archetype from Bardon, and you can continuously improve it by regularly returning to Martira and assisting him in his new tasks.
How to Unlock and Level Up Brigitta
Brigitta Lycaon is the mysterious owner of the Lycaon Magic Association, a store selling magical items in Grand Trad. You may meet her early in the story, often found in Sunlumeo Street outside her shop.
Initially reserved and thoughtful, by improving your virtues, you can convince her to work with you, unlocking the Merchant Archetype. This initiates a series of somewhat dark-themed tasks where you help Brigitta in some initially strange tasks until the sad truth is revealed. You can find her in the evening at her shop, so head there whenever you hear her voice.
How to Unlock and Level Up More
More is a memory-less and mysterious character you will encounter in Akademia, claiming to have been imprisoned by the previous king. She remembers little but includes the study of Archetypes, the character you will interact with to change and improve your Archetypes.
After the hero awakens as the Seeker Archetype at the beginning of the game, More becomes the associated follower. To level her up, you must complete More’s Task, focusing on aspects like leveling up specific Archetypes or unlocking a certain number of them. Completing these tasks will take time, but it is worth the effort to level up More as a follower and improve the Seeker Archetype.
