Fortnite has made a dramatic return to iPhone devices and the iOS platform for the first time since 2020, but only in the European Union. This has become possible thanks to EU requirements that force Apple to allow users to install app stores other than its own App Store, opening the way for the Epic Games Store to be present on iPhones in Europe. However, since this is not something Apple prefers users to do, there are some required steps to start using Epic Games Store on iOS.
The main obstacle to note is that, by default, no iPhone will allow the installation of any app unless it is from the Apple App Store. But now that you can download apps from other sources, like EGS, it has become possible. Step 1
Firstly, visit the Epic Games website using the Safari browser on your iPhone, where you will be prompted to install the Epic Games Store app. Click on the appropriate button for that.

When attempting to install the Epic Games Store app, you will receive an error message telling you that your device settings do not allow it, and that you will need to change these settings.

This screen will display instructions on where to find the option you need to change. Go to the Settings menu on your phone.

Due to your attempt to install an app store from an external source, a message will appear near the top of the Settings menu saying: “Allow apps from Epic Games, Inc.” Select this option.

Press the “Allow” button here.

Go back to Safari, which should still be on this screen, and click on the “Install” button.

Select the “Install App” option.

If successful, you will see a message to open the Epic Games Store, and you will notice the store icon on your home screen.

Select the Epic Games Store app from your home screen.
Step 10
Install any of the available games on the Epic Games Store for iOS, which currently include Fortnite, Rocket League Sideswipe, and the mobile version of Fall Guys. There are free rewards in Fortnite for playing each of these games on mobile.
