Ask any seasoned Call of Duty player about tips and tricks for the Zombies mode, and they will tell you that the Pack-A-Punch machine is crucial. This remains true even in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, as the difficulty increases with new zombies, maps, and challenges.
As the rounds progress, it becomes increasingly difficult to take down the undead until your basic weapons dry out before making an impact on the incoming hordes. Only by upgrading them using the Pack-A-Punch can you keep up with the difficulty, but you need to track down the machine on each map first. Both Liberty Falls and Terminus have one upgrade station that always appears in the same location, but it’s not easy to reach. Here’s where and how to find each Pack-A-Punch machine in Black Ops 6.
How to Find Pack-A-Punch in Terminus
There are several steps you need to take before you can even access the Pack-A-Punch machine in Terminus, let alone use it. The main goal is to reach the Bio Lab area, which will require you to first restore power. Keep in mind that you will need to spend essence to unlock the path to these areas, but objective markers will always show you the way. Here’s how to do it.
Step 1: Go to the Living Quarters and locate the generator.
Step 2: Spend 500 essence to activate it and a 30-second timer will start. You need to defend the timer while zombies try to destroy the generator.
Step 3: Find the second generator in the Living Area and follow the same steps mentioned above.
Step 4: Repeat the process one last time with the generator located in the Bio Lab.
If any generator is destroyed while defending it, you will need to finish the current round before you can try again.
Step 5: With all three generators activated, the objective marker will now lead you to the submerged area under the Bio Lab. Dive into the water and activate the slanted lift that will raise the Pack-A-Punch above the water. Once that’s done, you can go up and use it.
How to Find Pack-A-Punch in Liberty Falls
Locating the Pack-A-Punch machine in Liberty Falls is much clearer, but it will require a lot of essence to access it. As with the last machine, the objective markers will guide the way, but they offer two paths. Here’s one of them:
Step 1: Spend 1500 essence to unlock the barrier below the Motor Lodge.
Step 2: Go down to the bowling alley, and spend 1,750 essence to open the door outside.
Step 3: Follow the path to the church and open the next barrier to get 2000 essence.
Step 4: Approach the church doors and open the next membrane for another 2250 essence.
Step 5: Go through the doors to the Dark Aether. Head to the back of the church, and you can access the Pack-A-Punch machine.
In both maps, the Pack-A-Punch will cost the same amount of essence to upgrade your rifles up to three times. The upgrade costs 5000, 15000, and 30000 essence respectively.
