Honor launches X5b and X5b Plus phones with competitive prices in the Middle East.
Honor has announced the launch of the X5b and X5b Plus smartphones in the Middle East region, with availability in several Arab countries, providing users with new affordable options in the budget phone category.
The two phones are quite similar in design and specifications, but the X5b Plus version comes with some enhancements that give it an additional edge. Both phones are powered by the MediaTek Helio G36 processor, specifically designed to meet the needs of low-cost phones, enhancing performance while maintaining an affordable price.
Both phones feature a 6.56-inch HD LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, making the user experience relatively smooth. The top notch houses a 5-megapixel front camera, perfect for video calls and selfies.
The Honor X5b Plus stands out with a 50-megapixel main rear camera, compared to the regular version which only has a 13-megapixel camera. While both phones have a 0.8-megapixel macro camera, its actual usage may be limited.
The battery capacity is the same in both versions at 5200mAh, providing users with long usage time without the need for frequent charging. In terms of storage, the Honor X5b comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, while the Plus version offers double the storage capacity of up to 128GB, with the option to expand it using a microSD card.
As for the prices, the Honor X5b is priced at around $80, while the X5b Plus version comes at $105, making them suitable options for users looking for an economical phone.
