How to Unlock Gohan’s Sparking Episode
One of the best Sparking episodes in the game is Gohan’s episode, which can be found in the fifth chapter within the Resurrection F story. In the mission “Defend Earth from the Frieza Force!”, you need to “deliver a good fight against Frieza”. This means defeating a Frieza soldier as quickly as possible, then dealing the most damage to Frieza as quickly as possible.
By doing so, you will unlock the Sparking episode known as “The Strongest Warrior,” which is one of the highlights of the game. I don’t want to spoil the story details for you here, but it is definitely one of the best episodes in the game. Unlocking Gohan’s episode is relatively simple, but it has one of the longest alternative stories in Sparking Zero, so be prepared for a long and thrilling experience.
How to Unlock Piccolo’s Sparking Episode
Piccolo’s Sparking episode is a bit unusual as it consists of two parts. The first part is located in the second chapter during the mission “Piccolo Returns to his Birthplace”. You must defeat Frieza as quickly as possible (as is the case in most episodes), and you will unlock a new mission called Piccolo’s Struggle. After completing this mission, you will return to the original story path.
But that’s not all. After finishing the first part, head to the third chapter for the mission “Faint Unease”. When you are given the choice between helping Goku or watching his fight against Android 19, choose to help him. Doing so will unlock the alternative story called “A Mentor’s Guidance,” which focuses on the relationship between Piccolo and Gohan.
How to Unlock Future Trunks’ Sparking Episodes
Now we come to the real challenges. To unlock Trunks’ episode, you need to reach the end of the sixth chapter for the final mission called “Trunks’ Choice”. Here, choose to stay in the present and train with others, and you will unlock a new mission called “To Become Strongest in the Universe”. In this mission, you will face Vegeta, Piccolo, and Gohan sequentially to show the results of your training.
This mission is extremely difficult and requires you to complete it within an unspecified time frame, making it a great opportunity to use the Dragon Orb. If you are struggling, the perfect way is to enter Sparking mode and use the ultimate attack after a series of attacks, which worked for me and helped me complete it. Once completed, the alternative story “Inherited Pride” will continue and Trunks will appear in the Tournament of Power.
To achieve the true ending and see the actual Sparking episode, you must follow Vegeta in the mission “Father or Teamwork?”. This is the main and only Sparking episode for Trunks in the game.
