Google Releases Paid Version of NotebookLM Tool for Companies

Google has announced the launch of the paid version of the NotebookLM tool, designed for businesses and organizations, under the name NotebookLM Business. This version is specifically designed to meet the needs of companies, universities, and organizations, and comes with enhanced features aimed at increasing productivity and collaboration.

Google allows interested parties to experience the tool through a trial program that provides early access to new features, as well as offering training and support via email. The company mentioned that participants in this program will benefit from enhanced capabilities including higher usage limits, customization of notebooks, and the ability to share notes with team members, opening new horizons for companies to use the tool more effectively.

NotebookLM Business is a powerful tool that can be used in various fields such as marketing, training, sales, customer service, and product development. According to Google, there are over 80,000 organizations relying on this tool in their daily operations.

One of the key features of the new version is the “Audio Summaries” feature that allows users to create audio summaries of content in a podcast-like manner, making it easier to access information while busy with other tasks.

Google emphasizes its commitment to data privacy and security in the version targeted at businesses. The tool currently operates on the Gemini 1.5 artificial intelligence model, allowing users to upload information sources from files, websites, and YouTube videos for data analysis and related questioning.

It is worth noting that Google first announced the NotebookLM tool in July last year, and began making it available to the public in December. The company recently removed the “Beta” label from the tool, indicating the end of its trial phase.

Google is expected to reveal pricing details and the launch date for the commercial version of NotebookLM Business during the current year, as the company seeks to expand the tool’s usage among different institutions.
