Google releases advanced protection package for text messaging application
Google has developed a new security system to protect users of the messaging app from electronic fraud, focusing on parcel tracking messages and fake job offers.
The new system relies on artificial intelligence to analyze the content of messages and redirect suspicious ones to the spam folder, with alerts issued to users. Data processing is done on the device to ensure the privacy of conversations.
The update also provides an automatic darkening feature for photos that may contain sensitive content, warnings about suspicious links from unknown senders, and the ability to block international messages from unregistered numbers in the contact list.

The company is currently testing a sender identity verification system to prevent impersonation of known callers, which will be available to users next year.
