Google prevented from saving search activities conducted by users

Certainly, we all use Google and perform many searches daily. As we know, Google retains these searches not only to display them to you, but also to know everything about you and the searches you have done or will do. In fact, this has its benefits as it facilitates the searches you do, as you won’t have to write the full sentence you want to search for, but simply typing a few letters or a word will show you the results. However, I believe this is not effective enough as there is the auto-complete system that provides completion of letters and words before typing them during the search. Fortunately, you can disable this feature or remove specific searches you have done in the past or all searches you have done. This can be done through your Google account.

It is also nice that you can view the searches you have done in the past with dates, times, and details, which may interest some people as well. So, the steps are as follows.

Prevent Google from saving search activities

1. Go to this link , then log in with your Google account.
2. Click on the icon at the top and select Settings as shown in the image below.

3. Then click on Turn off to prevent Google from recording the searches you do. And you can always easily reactivate it.

Delete previous search activities

1. Go to this link , then log in with your Google account.
2. Click on the icon at the top and select Settings exactly as explained above.
3. Then click on Delete All in blue to show a box to confirm deleting all your search activities.

4. You can also click on recent activity and select the items you want to delete manually by checking the ones you want to remove and then click on Remove Items to delete what you have selected.

This method is very important for privacy lovers and those who believe that Google is spying or any of these things. Therefore, you can prevent recording search activities and ensure that what you do is private and does not reach any external party, whether advertisers to know your interests or even to governments and other countries. I hope the article is helpful and the explanation is clear.
