Google Maps App Adds Fully Private Browsing Mode Just Like Google Chrome.
During the opening keynote of Google I/O 2019 developers conference, CEO Sundar Pichai announced that “Incognito Mode” will be coming to Google Maps to enhance user privacy.
According to the source, Incognito Mode will work similarly to the web browser version, as once the update is available, we can activate “Incognito Mode” simply by selecting this option in the Google Maps app settings.
In addition, the interface will completely change to the color black, as we see in Incognito Mode for the Google Chrome web browser.
All search activities we perform will not be stored in the smartphone log, let alone in our account, and all search queries and routes will disappear when the user stops using this Incognito Mode.
Google states that users will be able to use Google Maps as they usually do, as it will not only not delete the addresses we searched for, but we will also be able to use this hidden version while driving, ensuring that this record is not stored on our phones.
