Google develops a new feature to run any app in a bubble on Android.

Google is working on developing a new feature that may change the way we interact with apps on Android devices, as the company prepares to expand the scope of bubbles to include all apps and not just messaging apps. This step may provide an innovative way for multitasking, making switching between apps faster and smoother.

Until now, bubbles on Android have been limited to notifications from messaging apps, which appear in a floating window that allows the user to follow messages without leaving other apps. Although this feature may be useful, it has not gained widespread popularity due to the possibility of forgetting or not relying on it completely.

However, it seems that Google is seeking to enhance this function, as reports from Android Authority reveal that the company is working on adding a new feature in future Android releases, perhaps Android 16, which will allow users to run any app in a floating bubble on the screen.

The new feature will allow users to place any app inside a bubble with a simple click, providing fast and easy access to the desired apps. This is expected to greatly improve the multitasking experience, and it is expected that this bubble will be flexible and easy to use, allowing it to be placed on the screen and moved or enlarged easily.

Additionally, Google is working on developing a bubble bar specifically for Android tablets, which will help organize floating windows better and increase the utility of this feature, especially on larger screens.

Although the launch date of this feature has not been confirmed yet, indicators suggest that it may be released before Android 16 and perhaps in one of the upcoming updates of Android 15 QPR. This step may add a new dimension to app usage and make the user experience more flexible and innovative.
