Google Adds New List of Six Important Elements When Opening the Search Engine

Google’s main page has historically been known for offering an extremely simple interface that basically provides a rectangular search box and some options to narrow down the search. Now, this service from the giant company Google is testing a new row of tools in the desktop web version.

These cards appear at the bottom of google.com. Also, it comes with a “Hide Content” button in the bottom right corner in case you do not want to see it. Google records your geographic location, and indicates that the information provided is “based on your previous activity.”

When you expand the window fully, six interface elements are presented that expand when hovering over to provide more information, such as:

– Weather: Weather information and temperature. If you hover over, you will have information for three days.

– Trending: Cover image with search count.

– What to Watch: Information about TV shows and movies.

– Stocks/Markets: Chart for the day with stock information when hovering over.

– Local Events: Date.

– COVID-19 News updates.

Additionally, in this feature being rolled out for Google search engine in the web version, if you touch a user interface element, you will have more detailed information.

Currently, only some have this feature in their Google accounts, despite it being on many devices they have logged into. According to 9to5 Google or Android Headlines who provided the information, they consider it very likely to be a test to report whether there could be a full rollout.
