The year 2025 looks extremely promising for PlayStation, thanks to the fact that the game Ghost of Yōtei, a sequel to Ghost of Tsushima, is set to be released next year. Now, after nearly a month since its official announcement, the open-world game is also available for wishlist.
Developer Sucker Punch announced the news on Twitter, allowing players to now head to the PlayStation store and add the game to their wishlist. However, we still have to wait and see exactly when the adventure title will be released in 2025.
Adding the game to the wishlist is not indicative of anything, but it seems that Sucker Punch is very confident in releasing the game next year, so it’s not impossible to showcase gameplay and reveal the release date later this year, perhaps during The Game Awards event in December.
The story of Ghost of Yōtei takes place 300 years after the events of Ghost of Tsushima, and will take players to a new location in the Ezo region, around Mount Yōtei. The game will feature a new heroine named Atsu, and Sucker Punch intends to give players more freedom in how the story progresses.
