Dragon Age: The Veilguard game from BioWare will finally reach us after rumors of a reimagining, name changes, and a long development cycle. As a teaser for its release, the developer has released a gameplay trailer that briefly showcases the threats awaiting Thedas and how the Veilguard are ready to fight.
Playing as « Rok, » players seemingly start in Tevinter looking for « Solas » (known as the Dread Wolf). After disrupting his rituals, they unknowingly unleash two corrupt spirit gods who wreak havoc. The only way to stop them is to gather the Veilguard and collaborate with factions like Veiljumpers and Grey Wardens to launch a counterattack.
The gameplay differs from previous games in several aspects, adopting a combat role-playing style (with the command wheel). It relies more on missions and is not an open-world like Dragon Age: Inquisition, but you will continue to make decisions and deal with their consequences.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard game will be launched on October 31 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.
