Microsoft et OpenAI soutiennent la transformation des salles de presse en intelligence artificielle

OpenAI and Microsoft have collaborated to support American news organizations with grants of up to $10 million to develop artificial intelligence tools in newsrooms.
Five media organizations are benefiting from the grant: Chicago Public Radio, The Minnestoa Star Tribune, Newsday, The Philadelphia Inquirer, and The Seattle Times. Each organization will hire a specialized expert for two years to develop artificial intelligence projects and enhance their sustainability.
This initiative comes at a time when the relationship between journalism and artificial intelligence is strained, as media organizations have filed lawsuits against both companies, accusing them of using their content without permission to train artificial intelligence models.
In a separate development, OpenAI appointed Aaron Chatterji, a professor of Business Administration at Duke University and former advisor to Presidents Obama and Biden, as Chief Economist.
