Le jeu Dead Island 2 a accueilli plus de 10 millions de joueurs.
Dead Island 2 may have gone through a difficult development process with multiple changes in the developing studio, but it finally achieved the anticipated success and managed to attract a large number of players. After its release last year following a long development cycle, it turned out that the role-playing game that relies on killing zombies was better than many expected, and its good reputation continued to attract a large number of players.
Publisher Deep Silver announced in a press release that Dead Island 2 has now surpassed 10 million players across all platforms, an achievement made earlier this week, on the same day Dead Island 2: Ultimate Edition was launched.
Reaching over 10 million players does not necessarily mean selling 10 million copies, as it was announced in May of this year that the game had sold over 3 million units since its launch. Deep Silver has not provided an update on sales figures, although one might imagine that the game’s availability on Game Pass and PlayStation Plus contributed to the large player numbers.
