Comment désactiver les fonctionnalités d’intelligence artificielle dans le navigateur Microsoft Edge ?

Microsoft is currently adding AI features to their applications one by one. The Edge browser has also received an update for AI. However, not every user is happy with this because AI may transfer user data to Microsoft.

For other users, these features are nothing more than bloatware, unnecessary add-ons that only lead to wasting memory and computing time. However, you can easily disable AI features in Edge.

Enter edge://flags in the browser address bar and press « Enter ». Then type the keyword Intelligent- in the « Search flags » field. Edge will now immediately display three experimental features:

« Enable creation (writing with artificial intelligence) on the web », « Explain DevTools using artificial intelligence », and possibly « Allow Bing AI workspaces to be created ». The toggle button next to each of these features is set to « Default ». Please select « Disabled » to turn off the features.

On the other hand, if you want to use AI features once they are available, set the settings to « Enabled ».
