Apple annonce officiellement la série de téléphones iPhone 16 avec un bouton dédié à la caméra, un bouton Action et une batterie de qualité supérieure.

Apple officially announced the iPhone 16 series today after several leaks during the previous period.

The design of the iPhone 16 series is not very different from the previous generation. The iPhone 16 comes with an OLED screen measuring 6.1 inches with a resolution of 2556×1179, a refresh rate of 60Hz, and up to 2000 nits of brightness that decreases to 1 nit in low light. It also has a stronger protective layer, 50% stronger than the previous generation and twice as strong as other phones according to Apple.

The phone features the A18 processor with a 3-nanometer manufacturing process, 30% faster than the previous generation and 30% less power consumption. Apple did not disclose the RAM size in the phone, but it is expected to be 8GB to handle artificial intelligence tasks. The phone is available with internal storage options of 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB.

A new button on the iPhone 16, called Camera Control, allows you to open the camera app with a single press and take a photo with another press or long press to record a video. You can also switch between different modes in the camera app by dragging on the button.

Through this button, there is a new feature called Visual Intelligence, similar to Google Lens, where you can take a photo of an object to get information about it by long pressing on the phone. There is also an Action button that allows you to perform tasks like turning on the flash or opening a specific app and customizing.

The iPhone 16 comes with a battery that Apple claims is much better than the previous generation, but did not provide specific details about the battery size or performance. The phone runs on iOS 18 and supports artificial intelligence features through Apple Intelligence, which will be available next month with the iOS 18.1 update in a trial version.
