Snapchat ajoute un raccourci rapide pour la prise de photos sur l’écran verrouillé de l’iPhone.

Snapchat has launched a new feature that allows iPhone users to quickly capture photos directly from the lock screen by replacing manual flashlight or main camera shortcuts.

The new feature works on iPhones running iOS 18, allowing users to open Snapchat camera with a single click from the lock screen in « Camera Only » mode. However, sending or editing photos requires unlocking the phone.

To activate the feature, the user long-presses the lock screen, then selects « Customize, » and replaces one of the default options. This feature joins other options such as adding a Snapchat tool to the home screen, or customizing the control button on iPhone 15 and iPhone 16.

Apple introduced this feature at their developer conference in June last year, joining other camera apps like Halide that have supported this feature since the release of iOS 18 in September.
