The anime series Attack On Titan has maintained an amazing quality coupled with one of the best anime storylines. The last season witnessed many breathtaking moments of action, drama, and plot twists. The presence of colossal titans has always been a dangerous mystery since the beginning of the series, and in the second season, this question was finally answered in a heartbreaking and shocking development. The identity of the colossal titans was unexpectedly revealed, shocking everyone. It was one of the biggest betrayals in anime, thanks to the stunning direction, superb voice acting, and first-rate soundtrack.
The story of « Attack On Titan » initially seems like a simple one. The original manga by Hajime Isayama and the anime adaptation revolve around humanity living for a century behind three walls to protect themselves from the monstrous titans outside. The main characters are part of the army determined to defend against or attack these titans. Anyone following this anime from the beginning knows that Eren Yeager is a strong, brave, and wonderful character. He is a human hero committed to killing and eradicating all the titans who cause grief and destruction to humanity, especially those who killed his mother and many of his friends.
Driven by hatred and anger towards them, he becomes the necessary evil symbol to defeat them by becoming one of the titans to grasp and destroy them, protecting his friends and land. This hero is one of the highest-rated heroes in anime stories, as he is designed for success and faces opponents much stronger and better trained without any fear or hesitation. However, after discovering what happened in the past, he sought to end the suffering of his people forever. It was greatly unfair to constantly punish Eren and his Eldean comrades for the crimes of their ancestors, and he wanted to break free from this stigma and never-ending oppression.

Character Mikasa Ackerman
Mikasa Ackerman is undoubtedly one of the fiercest warriors in Attack On Titan anime. She is brave, loyal, and capable of fighting at a level that can challenge Levi. Like many characters in the anime/manga, Mikasa Ackerman comes from a dark background. Her parents were killed in front of her, and she was saved from death by Eren. For this reason, she dedicated her life to protecting Eren.
However, this kind of loyalty can often be toxic, which is why some consider her one of the worst characters in the anime. Mikasa Ackerman is willing to die if it guarantees his safety, even if it puts her at odds with the rest of the scout team. Her design and loyalty were put to the test when Eren turned his back on his friends to initiate the rumbling operation, but Mikasa Ackerman emerged from the ordeal stronger than ever.
Character Hange Zoe
This character is a beacon of hope within the Survey Corp, despite being somewhat scary at times. The mad scientist character plays an effective role in fighting the titans and devotes herself to studying them, even risking her life to learn ways to defeat them. Additionally, she is one of the few people who believed that Eren had a place in the Survey Corp while everyone else would rather see him dead.
Hange Zoe is a capable leader and a friendly mentor who helps Eren learn how to control his titan abilities. Despite her deceptive behavior, she has always been loyal to her comrades. Her final chapter, one of the most emotional scenes in the entire series, involved stopping the approaching colossal titans to buy time for her allies to escape.
Character Erwin Smith
In the early episodes of Attack On Titan, fans didn’t have much time to get to know the already established members of the Survey Corp as the focus was more on Eren and his friends. The time spent getting to know the leader Erwin Smith was brief, but it left an impression. He was a great leader, and all members of the corps were proud to follow him. He was not afraid to do anything he asked of his men, even if it meant facing certain death. Erwin Smith’s courage and loyalty to those who followed him were his greatest strengths, but they were also his biggest weaknesses, leading to his death in the end. Regardless, he would gladly do it all over again, even if he knew the results would be the same.
Character Armin Arlert
At the beginning of the series, Armin Arlert did not embody the idea of a soldier, let alone a leader. He was shy, hesitant, had confidence issues, yet nothing could surpass his brilliance. Even Commander Erwin Smith noticed his tactical brilliance and placed his trust in him, leading to major victories for their allies. When talking about growth and development throughout the series, one cannot ignore the pivotal and wonderful character of Armin Arlert. He is loyal, optimistic, and unafraid to sacrifice his life for his comrades. Thanks to such traits, he gained more strength than the giant titan. He does not waste his energy as he contributes to the final efforts to end the war in the last season.
Character Sasha Braus
Most people become tougher forever in war, becoming different people in the process. Sasha Braus is a rare exception in the anime. She may not have led the charge, but she was a beacon of hope for those around her. Sasha Braus maintained her humanity and optimism throughout the series. She was always a source of joy and optimism among her very serious unit, breaking tense moments with her humor revolving around food.
It was wise to make her a source of light in such a dark series because Attack On Titan tends to be a tense show. However, Sasha also experienced serious moments and showed that she was more than just comic relief. It was more shocking and sad when she met her sad and sudden end at the beginning of the fourth season. But even in death, she came out as a martyr.
