Rockstar Games congratulated all participants in the Zombie mode of GTA Online, offering Orange Glow Skeleton Onesies and Red Hooded Skull Masks to every player who took part in the Nightmare Challenge in North Yankton.

On October 10, Rockstar launched a new Survival mode and community challenge that took us back to North Yankton to collectively kill 80 million zombies in order to unlock « special rewards, » including the Halloween-appropriate Orange Glow Skeleton suit and Red Hooded Skull mask.

Within a few days, over 400,000 players logged in to participate, prompting Rockstar to adjust the collective kill count from 80 million to 800 million.

Following the mission’s success, all participants received an Orange Glow Skeleton suit in purple and green to match the gifts unlocked when the community previously reached 80 million collective zombie kills.

Yesterday, Rockstar announced the community’s success in GTA Online collectively achieving the goal of killing 800 million zombies and receiving the announced rewards, with this resounding success possibly leading to more similar activities and challenges in the foreseeable future.
