The creative development studio Remedy has reaffirmed the close connection between the worlds of Alan Wake 2 and Control through the new DLC called Lake House. At the heart of this additional content, exciting details and developments were revealed through a new hint at the story of Control 2, sparking excitement among fans of both series.
Remedy studio cleverly added the first teaser trailer for the action-adventure game Control 2 to the latest additional content for Alan Wake 2. This short clip gave us an initial look into the world of the upcoming game, so if you’re a fan of these series, we highly recommend watching it as you will definitely understand something.
In the teaser, we see Dylan Faden, the sixth prime candidate or P6, being interrogated, where Faden claims that something has changed. He also asks the main heroine to inform Jesse that he tried hard, and then we see some scenes from what I believe are environments and areas of Control 2.
The events of the first game Control took place within the FBC institution, but the second game may be more of an open-world or semi-open-world type, as shown in the first area that appears in the teaser. Although the short teaser trailer doesn’t reveal much, fans of this world’s story will find it very exciting.
The development studio Remedy is currently working on the game FBC: Firebreak, set to release in 2025, which will be followed by the upcoming remakes of Max Payne and Max Payne 2. After these new releases, we can expect to hear about the game’s launch date.
