Filming for the second season of Fallout to begin in November next year.
Filming for the second season of Fallout will begin in November, just weeks from now. This comes after the huge success of the first season of the show in April, which led to its renewal for a second season almost immediately.
The news of the start of filming for the second season is coming soon from actress Leslie Uggams. In an interview with Screen Rant, Uggams confirms that filming will begin in November next year, and she is excited to return to the wasteland once again.
So, does this give us a better idea of when the second season will premiere? Well, filming for the first season began in July 2022, and it premiered for the first time in April 2024. There may be a faster turnaround this time since the team is no longer starting from scratch, but a two-year gap between seasons will not be very surprising by modern TV show standards.
We also know that the upcoming season will take us to the new favorite location in New Vegas, so the shooting locations will be completely different this time. Then, there is the fact that Deathclaws will appear in the next season, and perhaps with some other monsters from the games as well, so the crew definitely has their work cut out for them.
If production on the second season is similar to the first season, we may get leaks as soon as the crew starts filming. While we are still waiting for a promotional announcement for the first season, behind-the-scenes footage has already revealed many of the sets, costumes, and props early on.
Fallout is available to watch on Prime Video.
