Fans of Monster Hunter Wilds have the opportunity to access the beta early through PS Plus.
Capcom announces an opportunity to experience Monster Hunter Wilds game through the upcoming beta, which will be available starting next week. PS Plus subscribers will have the early access to this beta version before everyone else.
For PS Plus subscribers, early access to the beta starts on Monday, October 29, 2024, at 6 AM Mecca time. If you are not a subscriber to the monthly PlayStation service, you will have to wait until October 31 at 6 AM to enter the beta. Of course, it will require a minimum of 18 gigabytes of space on the PS5 for download and play.
According to the official PlayStation blog, during the Monster Hunter Wilds testing period, players will have the opportunity to experience three key elements of the content:
- Create Characters
- Experience the Story
- Experience the Doshaguma Hunt mode.
The character creation menu will allow players to create their hunters, starting from building the body to facial features. Characters created during the trial period can be transferred to the full version. However, progress made in this beta will not be transferable to the full version.
Additionally, the character creation tool can be used endlessly during this period, giving players plenty of time to create the perfect and iconic hunter.
The story content will include the game’s opening and extend to defeating Chatacabra, along with including a basic tutorial for beginners.
Finally, the Doshaguma Hunt mission will task players to track and defeat Doshaguma. Both missions can be completed in multiplayer mode online, or in single-player mode alongside three AI-controlled hunters.
Anyone participating in the beta testing will receive a special necklace, a set of weapon decorations, and Seikret when the full game is released. The testing period will also allow players to enjoy the features of the DualSense controller designed specifically for Monster Hunter Wilds. This includes using the built-in controller speakers, motion sensor, and adaptive triggers. The game will also support 3D audio through the unique Tempest technology.
Monster Hunter Wilds game will be released on next-gen consoles and PC on February 28, 2025.
