Drum Gun

A fantastic submachine gun with a high rate of fire and large magazine capacity

Uncommon 26 50 9 3.15 seconds
Rare 27 50 9 3 seconds

The Drum Gun recently appeared in Chapter 5 Season 2, but the original version introduced at the end of Chapter 1 Season 4 is considered the best, except for the Legendary Midas’ Drum Gun, one of the best mythical weapons in Fortnite. This distinction is attributed to several factors. Firstly, the rarity of the Drum Gun was initially low, making it very common in the battle arena at that time. Additionally, the original version had a high Damage Per Second (DPS) compared to later versions and could easily destroy player structures.

The original version of the Drum Gun was a force to be reckoned with, capable of inflicting massive damage on players at close range, but with relatively poor accuracy at longer distances. It was widely used among the Fortnite player community as a supporting weapon for continuous shooting, leaving a devastating impact when used with a shotgun due to its high fire rate and large magazine capacity. Despite undergoing a series of modifications and power reductions in later seasons, the Drum Gun solidified its place as one of the best weapons in Fortnite history and remained a credible weapon in close combat.

Pump Shotgun

An excellent high-damage weapon for fighting at close range

Rarity Damage Magazine Size Fire Rate Reload Time
Common 92 5 0.7 5.1 seconds
Uncommon 101 5 0.7 4.75 seconds
Rare 110 5 0.7 4.4 seconds
Epic 119 5 0.7 4.05 seconds
Legendary 128 5 0.7 3.7 seconds

The Pump Shotgun is one of the original weapons in Fortnite’s arsenal, first appearing in the pre-season of Chapter 1. This weapon is iconic and was considered one of the most powerful weapons in the game during the early seasons. Although its range was limited, the Pump Shotgun was able to inflict massive damage in close combat and had the ability to eliminate opponents with a single headshot. Players had to accurately hit most shots to achieve this killing blow, requiring precision and proximity to their enemies.

The Pump Shotgun has undergone several updates since its initial appearance, such as damage adjustments and reducing its potential range. However, the biggest modification was the delay introduced in Season 5, which removed the ability to bypass the pumping action by carrying two of these weapons and switching between them after each shot, making it one of the most powerful weapons for a period of time. Despite this change, the Pump Shotgun remained a strong weapon in close combat and proved its effectiveness when used with a submachine gun or assault rifle.
