Qualcomm unveils new Snapdragon 8 Elite processor

Qualcomm has announced its new processor, the Snapdragon 8 Elite, which will be manufactured using 3-nanometer technology and the Oryon central processing unit that it used in its X Elite laptop processors.
The new processor is expected to offer 45% better performance in single and multi-tasking, with 27% lower power consumption compared to the previous Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 version.
Qualcomm has also improved the Neural Processing Unit (NPU) in the processor by 45%, enhancing artificial intelligence capabilities. For gaming, performance will see a 40% improvement.
Early leaks indicate that the processor will reach a maximum speed of 4.32 gigahertz in two main cores, and 3.53 gigahertz in the smaller cores, with positive performance results, as the processor scored over 3 million points on the AnTuTu platform.
