Oscar Wolontis, the COO of Swedish studio Hazelight, previously discussed the studio’s new project and whether it would offer a cooperative experience. Here is his response:
It’s no secret that our focus is on this type of games. We’ve learned a lot from the past, especially with A Way Out and It Takes Two. The team has learned how to work together to achieve this. The experiences are very good now, so we won’t get rid of this type of experiences.
Studio head Josef Fares has said that Hazelight is “making good progress, but there is a lot to do.” He added that the development is “definitely heading in the right direction” and no matter what the game is, it will be truly amazing.
The new game is sure to be a cooperative experience, as the team has done in their previous projects like It Takes Two and A Way Out. Josef Fares himself shared a photo recently during motion capture sessions with two actors, hinting in one way or another that it will be a cooperative game.
