After reviewing the Facebook timeline together through the explanation of the new Facebook Timeline, we are now reviewing how to design or convert an image into a cover for Facebook Timeline easily and without any design knowledge from you or even without programs. The process is simple and we will explain it through this topic and through several methods, not just one.

First: The cover image must be 850px in width and 315px in height.
• Go to
here (or if you have Photoshop, use it), then follow the steps to easily create the cover.
1 – Click on “Open Image from Computer,” then select the image from your device.
2 – After selecting the image, click on “File,” then “New Image.”
3 – Then write 850 in width, and 315 in height as shown in the following image:
4 – Then click on the original image to make it active, then press Ctrl + A to select the image, then press Ctrl + X to cut the image as shown in the following image:
5 – Then go to the empty image and press Ctrl + V as shown in the following image:
6 – Then click on the move icon as shown in the following image:
7 – Then you use the mouse to move the layer of the image as you like as shown in the following image:
8 – After moving the image layer and settling on the image position, click on “File,” then “Save”
9 – Click on “OK,” then choose the location to save the image, then click “Save”.
You have now created the cover, and to add effects to the cover, you can use the following topics:

Second Method

here, then upload the background image and the profile picture, add effects to them, and you can write on them, then save the cover and profile picture as shown in the following image.
Third Method
This method is professional, as it consists of a set of editable design files in PSD format, you can use Photoshop or use the Pixlr tool. Here, the explanation will be on this tool, do not worry, the method is very easy.
1 – The first file – an editable design number one (design for Ahmed Helmy).

Notes on the video:
The idea of designing is to place the three images below the frames assigned to them, then delete the excess edges, so the image layer below the original image layer of the design.
To select the image, press Ctrl + A
To cut the image, press Ctrl + X
To paste the image, press Ctrl + V
To delete the extra edges, select them as shown in the video, then press the Delete button
