Electronic Arts plans for the future and reveals Project Atlas, here are the first details.

If Microsoft has set the foundation for the future of gaming with user-oriented services through xCloud, which will be available in the coming years, many companies are now placing great importance on launching their own cloud services to attract a specific audience.

Today, as an example, Electronic Arts revealed details about Project Atlas, a service that will be available in the future, in an official statement by the company’s Chief Technology Officer, Ken Moss.

He indicated that this project involves about 1000 programmers working daily on it, and it will not only offer games through cloud services but will also be a platform for game design and software development, integrating the Frostbite engine used in FIFA and Battlefield games.

The service will provide game servers, as well as a store and other features that, according to Ken Moss, will be a significant leap forward in the gaming world, as EA aims to introduce a new model and window to reach a new audience.

As of now, the project does not have a final release date, but it is worth noting that EA was able to incorporate cloud services into its offerings last year, previously used by GameFly for streaming and various game services. Best regards.
