All Internet users everywhere and at all times must agree that the most annoying thing for them is slow or interrupted Internet. Pages take a long time to open completely. The issue has two scenarios. The first is that the problem is with our service provider, while the second is due to other users on our network who consume Internet speed all the time for downloads and watching videos. In the first scenario, the solution is to subscribe to a higher speed for better Internet. As for the second, it concerns us only. We have discussed in several previous topics ways to protect our Wi-Fi network and control it, like the best way to protect Wi-Fi network from intruders even if they have the password and how to kick unwanted people from your network. The latest of these topics was about monitoring others’ activities on your Wi-Fi network and easily cutting off their Internet access. Today, after receiving requests from many of our followers, we will talk about controlling our Wi-Fi network and cutting off the Internet from whom we want using a computer.
We will use the program NetCut in this explanation, which is a program for Windows devices that helps in cutting the Internet off from devices in the same Wi-Fi network. It is easy to use. Here is a detailed explanation of how to use it:
1- Start by downloading the program from the internet. You can easily get it through the following link:
2- Now, install the program on your computer just like any other program.
3- After installing the application, you will need to install another application called WinPCP to run the program. Install it on your computer as well.
4- Once done, the program will open, and you will see the main screen as shown in the following image:
In the main screen, you will see the following options:
1. Cut Off option to disconnect a specific device and cut off its Internet.
2. Resume option to restore Internet to the disconnected device.
3. Find IP option to search for a specific device by its IP.
4. Scan Net option to scan the network and show connected devices.
5. Refresh Net option to update the list of connected devices.
6. Test Internet Speed option to check Internet speed through the program’s designed website.

5- As seen in the main screen, all devices connected to our network are displayed with their IP and MAC addresses. To disconnect the Internet from any device, select it and click on the Cut Off option to display a red mark next to it as shown in the following image:
6- If you want to restore the Internet to the device after disconnecting it, simply click on Resume to change the mark next to it back to blue as shown in the following image:
7- If you close the program, it will minimize to the taskbar next to the battery and clock as shown in the following image:
The program is easy to use and effective. I have tested it several times, and it works great. However, I urge you, dear reader, not to use this program for harm but only to cut off the Internet from unwanted individuals on your network easily without the need to disconnect them permanently, in case it is considered too harsh to do so.
