Easiest Way to Install Multiple Programs Simultaneously on Windows

I believe that our previous topic about the fastest 4 ways to install your essential programs after reinstalling Windows was very important for anyone who has bought a new computer or reinstalled Windows, or works in maintenance and has a set of essential programs that need to be installed on clients’ devices. These methods will save you a lot of time in the process of installing essential programs. However, in today’s topic, I want to focus more on the “fourth method,” which is using the distinctive program Silent Install Builder to install multiple programs at once on Windows devices.

First of all, note that this method is not recommended to be done continuously, only in cases like buying a new device or reinstalling Windows. Do not do it on the same computer more than once in a short period, as it puts a lot of pressure on the device’s resources. Also note that the Silent Install Builder program is a paid program, not free, but the ability to integrate multiple programs within one program for simultaneous installation is available for free. I do not think there are any other easy alternative tools to use, so we will use it without any problems.

Before you start, make sure to download the installation files for all the essential programs or those you want to integrate into one program, then place them in a special folder to make the process more organized and avoid errors. Now, download the Silent Install Builder program, then install and run it like any other program. In its main interface, you will find three basic options, the most important of which is the Create Silent Installation option, which we need to use to merge a group of programs and install them silently.

In the Create New Package window, click on the “three dots” button next to the File field to open a window where you will select one program from the programs you want to merge together. Then, in the Install method section, the program will automatically select the Silent install with parameters option to install the program silently in its own way.
But you can choose the second option, Automate installation, if you want to instruct the program on how to install the selected program if you have a specific way of installing it or there are certain options you do not want to include in the installation process. When you click Next, it will ask you to install the program so it can follow your installation steps and apply them later when the programs are installed automatically.

Then, a new section will open within the program, and it will take you to the Action on Install page. In this page, we will include the rest of the other programs we want to integrate into one program. After clicking the Add button, then from the drop-down menu, click on the Install Application option to add a new program.

In the Install Application window, you will see options for adding the new program. The first thing you will do here is to click on the “three parallel dots” button next to the Installation file section and from the menu that appears, click on the Select external file option to select the second program. Then, from the same window, you can click on the “three parallel dots” button next to the Install conditions section in case this added program requires an activation key. Enter the activation key for Silent Install Builder to activate the program automatically during the installation. The Automation Script option is also for instructing the program on how to install it in your own way.

After adding the second program, add the third, fourth program, and so on. You will press Install Application and add the programs sequentially so that the Action on Install list includes all the essential programs you want to include in one program to be installed at the same time. In my case, I wanted to install only four programs, as shown in the image, they were added to the list in the mentioned way. Then, after finishing, click on the Action section from the toolbar above and choose Build from the menu. This will show you the build window where you can select Setup Wizard if you want to display an installation confirmation window, or No Dialog if you want to install the programs automatically by clicking the install icon without displaying a confirmation window. Choose your option and click on the EXE Package button and select Build.

The process of merging all the selected programs into one executable EXE file will start immediately, which will only take a few minutes, depending on the size and number of programs you want to merge. Once done, you will see a message “EXE package had been built,” meaning that the programs have been merged into one ready-to-use program. To access this file, simply click on the EXE Package button, and from the pop-up window, click on the Open output folder option to go directly to the folder containing the merged file with all your programs.

In my case, I selected the Setup Wizard option, so when I double-click on the installation file, a confirmation window appears as shown in the image above. By clicking on the Install button, all essential programs will start installing silently. Give the computer some time to finish installing all your programs at once.

Since the program is paid, the validity period for the installation file will expire within 12 hours only. After that, you will need to purchase the Silent Install Builder program to be able to install all your integrated programs in the file again. However, there is a simple trick that can save you from that if you cannot afford to buy the program, which is to modify the time from the Windows settings and set it before the expiration period of the file.

In any case, once all the programs are installed, you will see a Completed message where you can now use your computer with your essential programs installed without the need to go to each program and install it separately. In the end, you will find shortcuts to the programs on your desktop and can use them without any issues. This was the easiest and simplest way so far to install multiple programs at once on Windows in case of switching to a new computer or working in a maintenance shop and needing to install essential programs on clients’ devices, saving time.
