Disabling the Seen Feature on Facebook Chat in Chrome

In a previous post, we reviewed how to disable the “Seen” feature when viewing messages on Facebook. Today, we will explain how to add another extension to Google Chrome that allows you to also disable the Seen feature on Facebook Chat. With this extension, you can read messages without the sender knowing that you have read them. It also hides the Typing indicator while you are typing. The extension we have today is called Facebook Unseen for Google Chrome. What’s great about this extension is that you can easily enable or disable it with a simple click. A useful addition for Facebook users.

The Facebook Unseen extension for Google Chrome allows you to disable the Seen feature that lets the other person know when you have read their message in chat or messages. If you are online on Facebook and receive a message but want to read it without the sender knowing, this extension is genius. The ability to activate or deactivate it with a single click is one of its best features. (Install the extension)

The extension’s icon appears at the top of the browser once installed. Clicking on it activates the extension, and clicking it again deactivates it. If you right-click on this icon and choose Options, you can access the settings to control the extension, including enabling or disabling the Seen feature and Typing indicator. This gives you easy control over the extension’s settings.

Since Facebook does not provide an option to disable this feature, browser extensions like this one are the only alternative solution for controlling it as you wish. The fact that this extension allows you to easily enable or disable it with a single click is a wonderful feature, allowing you to activate it while reading a message and then deactivate it. Complete control over your privacy in a fantastic way.
