The Last of Us Director Confirms New Game Project and Here are the First Details..

Following the Summer Game Fest 2022 event, which didn’t include major announcements, the team led by veteran journalist Geoff Keighley allocated a significant space at the end of the event for Naughty Dog studio with the aim of sharing more details about upcoming projects.

We’ve been following the revealed information about The Last of Us Part 1 Remake coming to PlayStation 5, and it’s still a topic of discussion here on our site.

In addition to sharing the first images of the multiplayer project in this universe, director Neil Druckmann described it as very promising and will be on par with the studio’s main releases.

During the studio’s presence at the event, they revealed for the first time that they are currently focusing on a completely new game under development, which Druckmann confirmed wouldn’t be possible without Sony’s support.

As they have upgraded various elements of the studio, including infrastructure and hiring more developers, they now have the ability to develop multiple games at the same time. Druckmann couldn’t disclose the details of the new game related to PlayStation 5 at the moment, but he promised to do so soon.

This assures us that it will mark the beginning of a completely new series, perhaps for Naughty Dog studio, presenting a new challenge to convince the audience of this new idea, which we look forward to discovering soon.
