Dead Island 2 game receives over 10 million players.

Despite facing difficult development challenges and multiple changes in the development studio, Dead Island 2 ultimately achieved the anticipated success and managed to attract a large number of players. After finally being released last year following a long development cycle, the role-playing game focused on killing zombies proved to be better than many expected, and its good reputation continued to attract a large number of players.
Publisher Deep Silver announced in a press release that Dead Island 2 has now surpassed 10 million players across all platforms, an achievement reached earlier this week, specifically on the same day that Dead Island 2: Ultimate Edition was launched.
Reaching over 10 million players does not necessarily mean selling 10 million copies, as it was announced in May of this year that the game had sold over 3 million units since its release. Deep Silver has not provided an update on sales figures, although one might imagine that the game’s availability on Game Pass and PlayStation Plus contributed to the large player numbers.
