One of the biggest problems faced by most Arab users is the low speed of the internet compared to what is available in the monthly subscription with the telecommunications companies in the countries they live in. Often, we blame these companies for their poor services, even though the problem may be something else. Therefore, there is a website called Glasnost on the internet that tests your browser to determine whether your internet service provider is limiting your internet speed. After conducting this test, you will actually know if the problem is on your end or theirs.
Firstly, before performing this process, you must have installed Java on your computer. It can be downloaded from the official website using the following link:

Then go to the Glasnost website using the following link:

Select the type of test you want, for example, I chose bittorrent and then click on start testing as shown in the image:
Check the result. Green means that the service provider is not throttling your download and upload speed. In the opposite case, you will see red text confirming that they are throttling your internet speed:
