Capcom has announced that it will release the redeveloped version of the game Resident Evil 2 on Apple devices this year. This comes after the success of Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 7: Biohazard on the same platforms.
The version will be available on iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16, as well as on iPad and Mac devices equipped with the M1 chip or newer. This release is a reimagining of the version that was released in 2019, and will be available soon to all users.
Players will be able to experience the beginning of the game for free, but will have to pay to unlock the rest of the content which includes many surprises. So far, the full version price has not been announced. It is worth mentioning that the game size will be 22.1 gigabytes on iOS devices.
