Cancelation of pre-orders for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 due to anti-piracy system!
The first part of Kingdom Come achieved great success after receiving praise from critics and a warm reception from players. Now, we are all eagerly awaiting the arrival of the second part, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, which will come with Denuvo anti-piracy protection system on personal computers.
This protection system is supposed to prevent piracy and manipulation of game files, meaning users won’t be able to cheat or modify the game in any way. Many PC gamers love creating and adding mods to games, so it’s not surprising that the Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 community is upset about the inclusion of this protection system.
Players have reportedly canceled pre-orders and decided not to purchase the game until the developer removes this protection system. Additionally, it has been revealed that the game will not be available on the popular GOG store, likely due to its restrictions on games using this protection system.
Some believe that introducing Denuvo to a game with a large world like Kingdom Come will negatively impact its performance and stability, which does not benefit the game or its audience. The developer has not commented on these developments yet.
If the developer does not respond to the concerns of the community and remove the protection barrier, the initial sales of the game, especially on PC, may be affected.
In previous news, it was revealed that the new Kingdom Come game will be larger than Baldur’s Gate 3.
